research creative output
Spend some time visiting local museums or galleries, conducting a google search, and searching through appropriate hashtags on Instagram to get a sense of the type of creative work being done by and in the community. Spend time consuming community media— if applicable, watch movies and t.v. shows, listen to music, attend concerts. Making a Pinterest board is a very useful way to collect and organize these examples.
